Goldschmidt's role has fluctuated this season, but he's been productive with the platoon edge, batting .309/.404/.592 versus southpaws. He'll enjoy the platoon edge when thePittsburgh Pirateshost theSt. Louis Cardinalsand leftyMatthew Liberatore.
